Reiki is amazing for young people, toddlers + babies, as they are very intuitive + particularly receptive to energy. ​​Treatments work to relieve stress + anxiety; help with personal growth & development, such as learning capabilities; mood swings, temper tantrums, unexplained fears, sleep problems, injuries + pain they may be experiencing. Working on clearing emotional blockages greatly aids children who show signs of or who have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) or Autism.

When children have experienced traumas from loss, a move, abuse or exhibit depression or behavioural problems then Treatments + Coaching can help. Sessions help them to transition through the stages of life, through puberty, adolescence & into adulthood. As reiki relieves stress, it is a good idea to either perform self-reiki or have a treatment prior to any tests or exams to calm, ground and balance, to reduce fear and worry. Children seem to undergo so many tests, interviews and applications, even during early childhood.

Reiki is performed in hospitals + healing centres throughout the World, such as Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital in the UK. ​Learning self-reiki as young as possible is life forming and provide children with excellent grounding, coping and relaxing skills that they can use throughout life. It is important children learn ways to make life less stressful and more fulfilling. Things like the constant 'bad news' that is thrown at us daily can cause great stress as they worry about what is happening in the world. We all have the ability to make the world a better place, one day at a time and in our own way.
Encouraging children to have regular treatments to remove build ups of emotions, help them with grounding and frequently ignites their bodies own ability to heal. Treatments = 40 minutes and are performed fully clothed, on a massage table, or chair, if there are any movement difficulties. Lose clothing is preferable but not essential.
