Book Review: Everything is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo

Updated: Jun 1, 2020

Book Review of Marie Forleo's great novel
Everything Is Figuroutable

I have followed and listened to the videos and postings online of Marie Forleo for some years now, and have always felt empowered after each encounter. Now, Marie has put all that she has learnt and experienced into her new book, Everything is Figureoutable, launched recently. Oprah Winfrey sums Marie up perfectly: "Millions of young women look to Marie as their inspiration for empowerment and achievement... She's the thought leader for the next generation.”

There is always more to learn and listen to, for affirming our current practices and aiding our growth. The title very much says it all, you can figure everything out, if you try hard enough and truly believe in your heart that YOU can do it. So much of what we do needs to be believed in our heart and visualised as in place now, not in the future. There are obvious exceptions, like the law of nature, but let's knock down any 'barriers' that we put in our own way!

The ancestor of every action is a thought - Ralph Waldo Emerson

I highly recommend this book, if you are offended by swearing then be warned, Marie is very real in the book and writes as she speaks. I too speak freely, never to offend, only to enlighten and empower others. There are lots of actionable exercises within the pages, so that you can keep moving forwards and become clear on your goals, dreams and plans, for what you truly want. It is lovely to have a lot of what I write about, to help you all live your true potential, in happiness, is confirmed within the pages of this book.

Alice in Wonderland Quote

Marie's chapter on belief is the foundation for you to take the steps and change, and remove all that no longer serves you, on a daily basis. You do have to excuse the 'spelling mistakes', heehee, I jest re the American-English use of language. We do not need to live with the beliefs from our past; we need to retrain our brain & habits. The exercises at the end, will help remove your limiting beliefs and any personal 'road blocks' you choose to have.

We get 'stuck' because we cannot see a way through the fog of thoughts, feels and emotions but BUY THIS BOOK TODAY and you will have another tool in your armoury of self-healing, intuitive expansion and new way of being, every day. There is a large proportion of this publication, where you will find the words ringing true with your old thought patterns, behaviours in life (health, fitness, food intake, people in your life & so much more) and the actions you take. You choose our ultimate destiny with how you think & perceive situation & the subsequent feelings and activities.

"Here's the problem: 99% of the time when we say we "can't" do something, "can't" is a euphemism for "won't." What does "won't" mean? "Won't" means we're not will. In other words... You don't really want to - Marie Forleo

Throughout, Marie talks about finding, at least,10 minutes a day to work on where you want to go. There are a lot of time wasting statistics, such as 30 minutes a day on your phone/ social media = 182.5 hours a year / 22 FULL 8-hour workdays. Imagine what you can achieve by reducing the time spent on non-growth performance. YOU choose the use of your time, so make it industrious, successful and exciting! Excuses are our choice, life requires commitment, strength and belief in yourself, regardless of your responsibilities and what you feel is beyond your control. Breaking 'stuff' down and finding quicker / more profitable use of our time is invaluable.

Happy reading and enjoy applying the Insight to Action Challenges to your world, let me know your thoughts and successes, as a result of completing the tasks set out within the book. Have a wonderful day.

There are two kinds of people in the world: those with reasons and those with results - Marie Forleo
