Spring Clean Your Energy

Updated: Sep 30, 2019

Nature, and earth as a whole, begin a new lease of life as it awakens from the sleepy months of winter and moves into Spring, a re-birth, with the beautiful new flowers blossoming, leaves beginning to return to the trees and lambs being born. It is the perfect time to do the same with our energy, to cleanse and revitalise our soul and aura after the darkness and shorter days of Winter. We take a duster to our homes, lets do the same with ourselves!

The Spring Equinox is on 20th March, the next Full Moon on 21st and Mercury Retrograde ends on 28th, so spending the next few weeks cleansing ourselves, so we can match the renewed energy outside within ourselves is an excellent idea.

Common signs we need to rebalance include:

  • Feeling sluggish and 'stuck'

  • Broken sleep patterns

  • Increased self doubt & over worrying (even when we know it is not in our best interests)

  • Manifesting dis-ease as our energy levels are low and immune systems compromised

  • Negative self-talk

  • Lack of energy & motivation to complete our to-do lists

Plan a revitalising strategy for Spring, suggests include:

  • Daily meditation

  • Walks in nature

  • A series of Reiki Treatments, to rebalance, realign & remove negative emotions collected over the winter, along with move deep rooted learned behaviours

  • Smudge & de-clutter your space, especially bedrooms & paperwork throughout the house (if you don't use it / need it, recycle it!)

  • Dejunk your closets

  • Journalling or writing a small list of things you are grateful for works wonders

  • Cleanse your Crystals, altars & deities throughout your home

  • Update your vision boards

  • Do what you love - a trip to the seaside, visit a museum or hangout with friends & family
