Working with Essential Oils

have recently re-discovered my love of using essential oils, alongside my other personal healing practices, and wanted to share some new findings with you.

Working for myself, I have been spending a great deal of time in front of my computer and not as much out in nature as I would like, so I needed some help. A beautiful fellow spiritualist, who lives in Ontario, Canada, highly recommended doTerra Slim & Sassy. I purchased the Metabolic Blend of oils with excitement, as it is said to help boost the metabolism and I have to say, so far it seems to be working wonders! I would advise researching online for the best deals, eBay seemed the cheapest from where I am based, the cost appears to vary quiet considerably from place to place. Then on Sunday, a friend gave me Cinnamon Bark, wow, that too is fantastic!

Here are the properties of each:

doTerra Slim & Sassy Metabolic blend, combines powerful essential oils known for their detoxifying qualities to promote weight loss in a natural and healthy way. The blend helps manage hunger throughout the day while boosting metabolism and as an additional plus, boosts your mood, much needed at times of struggle! It contains Grapefruit and Lemon, both of which have a high limonene content to help purify and cleanse the body while Peppermint, Ginger, and Cinnamon provide a stimulating and positive effect on the endocrine system to assist with weight loss. It is best to combine Slim & Sassy with a healthy eating and exercise plan and take it in the form that best suits you. Remember it is calorie free and full of healthy ingredients. We are all unique, find what you like best. doTerra has created the most stringent oils in the industry of essential oils, there are no added fillers, synthetic ingredients or harmful contaminants, that would reduce the efficiency.

Young Living Cinnamon Bark is for the health of our cardiovascular system and immune function, so for our heart and blood circulation. Externally, once diluted, it is great for massaging into the Chakras to aid with relaxation. I use it during my daily self-reiki sessions and, also, take it internally. I feel it too boosts my mood but that could be the wonderful aroma. I, for one, associate it with the happy times that surround the festive season and cinnamon sticks. Many rank it #1 for its amazing antioxidant levels of healing and it has been used medically throughout the ages, often daily because of its numerous health benefits. I have used the ground version for years when cooking, even in chilli recipes, as they complement each other, in my opinion!! It is also anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, anti-microbial, immunity-boosting and disease protecting (even against the big 'C').

Do share any findings you have discovered over the years from using essential oils or similar products, I am keen to try others!

Have an amazing day.

Namaste
